NANCY'S PINEAPPLE CAKE 
2 boxes lemon cake mix
1 stick butter

Follow directions on the box. Bake layers; set aside and cool. Cake should yield 4 layers.

PINEAPPLE GLAZE TOPPING:

1 (29 oz.) can crushed pineapple
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
4 (+) drops yellow food color
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 egg yolk
1 grated lemon rind

For Cake: Use lemon box cake mix, add 1 stick butter; 2 boxes of cake mix, following directions for 4 layers.

For Pineapple Glaze Topping: Mix ingredients together in saucepan. Bring to a near boil, stirring constantly. Cool for 1 hour, then spread on layers and stack cake.
