CHERRY DROP COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. liquid shortening
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
Nuts, finely chopped
Cherries (how many you want, chopped)
3 1/2 c. flour

Combine brown sugar, shortening and sour cream, eggs, nuts (if desired), cherries and 1 cup flour; mix all together. Then add remaining flour, beating after each cup.

Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake about 10 minutes at 325 degrees. After cookies are partially cooled frost each one with frosting made of powdered sugar, cherry juice and teaspoon of butter.
