BOILED VANILLA CUSTARD 
4 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 qt. milk, warm
1 tsp. vanilla
6 lg. marshmallows, cut up

Beat eggs. Add sugar and milk. Cook in a double boiler over low heat. Cook until mixture thickens and coats a metal spoon, Stir constantly. Remove from heat and add 6 large marshmallows cut up into small pieces. Melt completely. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Cool and refrigerate. Serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip. Great with coconut cake.
