1 c. kidney beans, drained
1 1/2 c. shredded cabbage
1/2 c. diced celery
2 tbsp. finely chopped parsley
1/3 c. finely chopped onion
4 to 5 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. mayonnaise

Combine beans with cabbage, celery, parsley, onion and bacon. Add salt and pepper. Stir vinegar and sugar into mayonnaise. Pour over salad mixture. Toss lightly; chill. Serve in salad bowl lined with lettuce. Serves 8.
