Split lengthwise 1 Sara Lee frozen cake. Cover the thickness of the slice with multi-color ice cream. Place cake slice on top. Cover entire cake with Cool Whip. Place cherries and nuts on top. Slice crosswise. A very colorful and tasty dessert. Freeze until ready to serve.
