BAKED APPLE PUDDING 
2 tbsp. sugar
Cinnamon, sprinkled
1 tbsp. butter
1 egg, well beaten
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Peeled sliced apples

Half fill a buttered baking dish with peeled, sliced apples. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons sugar and a little cinnamon over the top. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.

Cream the butter. Add sugar and cream again. Mix in egg. Mix in the flour mixture alternately with the 1/2 cup milk. Batter will be on the thick side. Pour batter over apples and bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream. Pudding will sink after baking.
