CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS 
1 stewing or baking hen
3-4 c. flour
3 eggs
Water

Cook the hen until tender and debone. Put the chicken back in the water. Mix up the dumplings like you would make biscuits. Mix the flour, eggs, and enough water to make your dough right to roll. Roll onto a cloth and roll thin. Cut in small strips and drop into boiling chicken and water, one at a time, so they won't stick together.
