LOW - FAT SUGAR COOKIES | |
1 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar 1 c. tub butter, room temp. 1/4 c. skim milk 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 tsp. almond extract 2 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. baking soda Cream sugar and butter. Add milk and extracts. Stir in flour, tartar and soda and mix well with mixer. Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Divide dough in half and roll each half out to 1/4" thick on lightly floured board. Cut into shapes and place on lightly oiled baking sheet. Bake for 8 minutes or until golden. Let cool 3 to 4 minutes before removing from baking sheet. |
