MINCEMEAT PIE 
1 pt. mincemeat
1 apple, chopped fine
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 stick butter, softened
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Double crust

Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch; add to mincemeat and apple along with softened butter and nuts. Mix and pour into 9 inch crust. Put latticed or double crust on top. Seal edges. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes; turn oven to 350 degrees and bake 30 minutes longer.
