4 lg. chicken breasts 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. paprika 1/4 c. shortening 1 onion, chopped 2 1/2 c. canned tomatoes 1 c. water 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1/2 tsp. parsley 1/4 tsp. pepper DUMPLINGS: 2 c. Bisquick 2/3 c. milk Shake chicken in bag with flour, salt, pepper and paprika. Brown chicken in hot shortening. Add onion and saute until transparent. Add tomatoes, water and other seasonings. Bring to boil. Cover and cook at low temperature until tender. Top with dumplings. Cook covered at low heat for 10 minutes. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer. Serve. |
