3 c. brown sugar
3 c. flour
1 c. butter

Mix the above and save out 1 well rounded cup. Add: 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 3/4 c. chopped nuts

Last, add 2 medium eggs. Beat well and put in 9 x 13 inch greased pan. Sprinkle dry mix on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out dry.
