1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup beer (or more)
4 egg whites

Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold in rest of ingredients. Dip fish in batter and deep fry until golden brown.

Note: This is also good for onion rings.
