INA LEE'S COOKIES 
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. corn flakes (crushed)
1 c. Mazola oil
2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. coconut
2 sticks butter (real butter 1/2 lb.)

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream oil, butter, egg, sugars, and vanilla with hand mixer. Fold in flour, salt and soda. Add corn flakes, nuts, coconut and oatmeal; stir well by hand.

Drop with teaspoon on greased pan. After dipping fork in water, pat quickly on top of each cookie. Bake until very light brown (about 8-10 minutes). These cookies can also be decorated for Christmas cookies--decorate before baking.
