BANANA BREAD II 
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. bananas, mashed
1 c. dates, chopped

Beat butter, sugar and eggs. Add milk. Sift flour with baking powder, salt and baking soda. Stir in egg mixture. Blend in bananas, dates and nuts. Bake in 9"x5" loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Test with toothpick in center of loaf. When it comes out clean the loaf is done.
