POOR MAN'S STEAK 
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 lb. extra lean ground beef (preferably ground round or ground chuck)
3 onions (average size)
6 potatoes (average size)

Slice potatoes and onions in a 2 quart casserole dish. Pour the soup over the vegetables. Season with salt and pepper. Top with layer of uncooked ground beef. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, until vegetables are tender. Place steak on a platter. Stir vegetables and soup mixture before serving over meat.
