TRIFLE 
1 butter flavored cake mix
2-3 med. size Cool Whip
3 quick thaw strawberries or raspberries
3 pkgs. instant French vanilla pudding

VARIATIONS: Use one can of Hershey's chocolate syrup instead of fruit and layer in the same fashion.

1. Prepare pudding according to directions and refrigerate until ready.

2. Prepare cake to directions. Bake in 9"x13" pan. When cool, cut into bite sized pieces.

3. Layer in trifle dish: cake to cover bottom of dish, pudding, berries and a little juice, Cool Whip.

4. Continue to layer and end with Cool Whip on top.

5. Top can be decorated with sliced almonds, chocolate shavings, fresh strawberries.

6. Best when refrigerated overnight or at least 8 to 10 hours before serving.
