BOILED CUSTARD 
1 gal. milk
1 1/2 scant c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
8 egg yolks

Beat egg yolks until light and fluffy. Use 1 cup of milk. Add sugar and cornstarch. Put in egg yolks. Bring rest of milk to boil. Pour egg yolk mixture into hot milk and boil over low heat until it coats the spoon or slightly thickened.

Optional: Use scoop of ice cream and pour custard over the ice cream.
