1 stick butter
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
10 oz. Sprite
1 c. Crisco
3 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix butter, Crisco and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Add flour alternately with Sprite. Pour mixture into greased and floured bundt cake pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour 20 minutes.

Start icing while cake is in the oven.

ICING:

3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. flour
1 sm. pkg. frozen sliced strawberries
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
Optional: Coconut

Mix all ingredients well. Cook until thick, stir constantly. Add 1 cup coconut (optional). Pour over hot cake.
