CORNBREAD OR MUFFINS 
1 c. flour
3/4 c. cornmeal
2 to 4 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking powder (heaping)
1 egg
2/3 c. milk
1/3 c. melted butter, butter, or oil

Mix dry ingredients together. Beat together liquid ingredients and add all at once to dry ingredients. Stir just until moist. Spread in greased 8 x 8 inch pan and bake at 425 for 25 minutes.
