TOM AND JERRY BATTER 
6 eggs, room temperature

Separate eggs. Beat yolks very well. Beat egg whites until very stiff.

Mix eggs together and add: 1/4 tsp. allspice 1/4 tsp. cinnamon Pinch of salt

Have cups hot. Put in 1/4 ounce brandy and 1/2 ounce rum. Fill half full of hot water. Spoon batter on top. Mix well and sprinkle on nutmeg to decorate. Batter will not keep overnight.
