BUTTERMILK BISCUITS 
2 c. bread flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
4 tbsp. powdered buttermilk
1 c. water
5 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. sugar

Make flour mixture early in day. Then 20 minutes before eating, mix with water, knead and bake.

Place flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, sugar and buttermilk in food processor and blend. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Place flour mixture in another bowl and add one cup water. Mix together, adding a handful of additional bread flour to work into mixture. Pour dough onto floured cloth and gently knead 8 to 10 times. Dough will be a little sticky. Roll dough 1/2 inch thick and cut with a 2 inch biscuit cutter. Place on greased pan. Bake 10 to 12 minutes in 400 degree oven until lightly brown for soft biscuits.
