MARINATED SLAW 
1 med. head cabbage
1 bell pepper or pimento
1 carrot, shredded
1 sm. onion, chopped fine
Dash of salt
Dash of pepper

GLAZE:

1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. white mustard seed

Boil glaze and pour over vegetable mixture. Refrigerate. May leave turmeric out, if you do not want it yellow.
