CALICO SALAD 
16 oz. frozen mixed vegetables (bring to a boil)
1 can red kidney beans
1 green pepper (optional)
1/2 c. celery
1 small onion
any other fresh vegetable (cauliflower, broccoli, etc.)

Sauce:

3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. prepared mustard

Cool vegetables and sauce, then mix together. Keeps for a month in refrigerator.
