CANDY BAR COOKIES 
1 c. butter
3/4 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. evaporated milk
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 lb. caramels
1/4 c. evaporated milk
1/4 c. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. pecans
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/3 c. evaporated milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar

Cream first 5 ingredients. Add flour. Roll dough on floured surface, cut with cookie cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12 to 16 minutes in 325 degree oven. Cool. Spread 1 teaspoon filling on each cookie, 1/2 teaspoon icing on top of that.

Filling is caramels, milk, butter, melted together. Add pecans and powdered sugar. Melt bits and milk, add butter, vanilla and 1/2 cup or more powdered sugar.
