BAKED LIMA BEANS 
1 c. lima beans
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. cream
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 sm. chopped onion
1 c. hot water
Diced cooked ham

Soak beans overnight. Pour off water, put fresh water on beans and boil and drain. Put in casserole dish. Add celery, onion, brown sugar, cream, 1 cup hot water, salt, pepper. Add ham. Bake slowly 3 to 4 hours at 325 degrees. Stir add more cream if needed.
