KAHLUA KAKE 
1 pkg. devils food cake, baked as directed on pkg.
1/2 c. Kahlua
6-8 snack-sized containers vanilla pudding (already prepared)
6 Heath bars, crushed with rolling pin
1 lg. container Cool Whip

In large glass bowl, break chocolate cake into bite-sized chunks. Put half of cake pieces in bottom of bowl. Pour 1/4 cup Kahlua over cake. Spread 3-4 snack-sized containers of vanilla pudding over cake. Spread Cool Whip over pudding. Sprinkle with half the crushed Heath bars. Repeat layers starting with cake pieces, 1/4 cup Kahlua, pudding, Cool Whip and Heath bars. Refrigerate, covered, overnight. Spoon into bowls to serve.

I have found that if you prepare the devil's food cake as directed, then poke holes all over, about 1.5" apart with the handle of a wooden spoon, the smear some holes with vanilla and some with chocolate (no need to get anal and make them alternating, too time consuming), then frost with a mix of powdered sugar, butter, about a tsp of dark chocolate Hershey's baking cocoa, and the homemade Kahlua to the right consistency....oh man, so good!
