RED VELVET CAKE 
1 1/2 c. cooking oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. flour (Swan Down cake flour)
1 tsp. cocoa
2 (1 oz.) bottles red food coloring
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla flavor
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vinegar

Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.

RED VELVET FROSTING:

8 oz. cream cheese
1 box. 4X sugar
1 stick butter
1 c. chopped nuts
