EASY CHERRY PUDDING 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
1 (1 lb.) can red sour pitted cherries

In 9 inch square pan melt butter. In bowl combine next 4 ingredients. Mix until well blended. Pour over melted butter. Do not stir. Pour undrained cherries over batter. Do not stir. Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over cherries; do not stir. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
