PEANUT BUTTER POPCORN
4 c. popped corn, preferably unsalted
1/3 c. peanut butter
1 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. butter
1-2 c. water

YOU WILL ALSO NEED:

Measuring cups & spoons
Large mixing bowl
2 sm. bowls, 1 a little bigger than the other kettle or saucepan for boiling water
Potholder
2 mixing spoons

Measure the popcorn and pour it into a large mixing bowl. Put 1/3 cup peanut butter into the smaller of 2 small bowls. Add 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of butter. Put the bowl into a slightly larger bowl. Pour about 1 or 2 cups of water into a kettle or saucepan. Put the kettle on the stove and turn on the burner. When the water comes to a boil, turn off the heat. Use a potholder to remove the kettle or pan.

Pour the water into the larger of the 2 small bowls so that the water level comes about 2 inches up the side of the bowl. The peanut butter, butter and honey will begin to melt together. Stir gently. When the peanut butter is very soft the liquid, carefully take the bowl out of the water.

Pour the peanut butter mixture over the popcorn. Stir with a large mixing spoon. Coat all the popcorn. You can eat the popcorn right away or put it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to make it less sticky and less crunchy. Either way, keep plenty of napkins nearby.

Makes 2 servings.
