CHILI CON CARNE WITH BEANS 
3 c. dried beans (pinto, kidney or mixture)
2 lb. ground beef or turkey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped green pepper
4 (1 lb.) cans (8 c.) stewed tomatoes
4 tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. salt
(4 to 8 cubes beef bouillon if use ground turkey)

Wash beans. Cook in salted water until tender. Drain. Cook ground meat, garlic, onion and green pepper until lightly browned. Add to beans. Add remaining ingredients and simmer about 2 hours, adding water as necessary.

Tastes better after refrigerating at least a day and reheating. Makes 8 to 12 servings.
