PIQUANT STEAK STRIPS 
2 lb. flank steak
1/2 c. salad oil
3 tbsp. onion soup mix
1 tsp. bottle sauce for gravy (A-1)
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. sugar

Have flank steak scored on both sides. Combine salad oil and remaining ingredients in jar. Cover and shake well. Pour over meat. Cover and let stand in refrigerator several hours or overnight. Remove meat from marinade. Grill over hot coals until brown but still rare, 5-7 minutes on each side. Cut in thin strips diagonally across grain. Serves 8.
