PUMPKIN BREAD | |
3 c. sugar 1 c. salad oil 4 eggs, beaten 1 can pumpkin, 1 lb. 2/3 c. water 2 1/2 c. flour 1 c. Grist Mill flour 2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. allspice 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. cloves 1 tsp. baking powder Cream sugar and oil together. Add eggs and pumpkin, mix well. Sift together dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients alternately with water. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9x5 inch loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes in pan. Remove from pans and cool on wire rack. |
