CHINESE STYLE FRIED RICE 
1 1/3 c. water
1 1/3 c. minute rice
3 tbsp. butter
1 egg, beaten
1/3 c. chopped onion
2-3 tbsp. soy sauce

Bring 1 cup water to boil. Stir in rice. Let stand 5 minutes. Saute onion in butter, slightly. Add eggs, stirring and chopping up egg as it cooks. Add rice. Cook and stir over medium heat until lightly browned, about 5 minutes Combine 1/3 cup water and soy sauce. Stir into rice.
