OATMEAL CINNAMON BREAD 
2 c. milk, scalded
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. soft butter
2 pkgs. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 1/2 c. oatmeal, uncooked
5 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cinnamon
Butter, melted
Raisins

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add milk, 1/4 cup sugar, salt and butter. Stir in 1 cup flour. Add oatmeal. Stir in rest of flour. Knead for 10 minutes. Let rise until double. Roll dough into 2 (12 x 18 inch) oblongs. Spread melted butter over each piece. Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon on each piece of dough. Add a few raisins to each. Roll each piece into a loaf. Cover and let rise again. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Makes 2 loaves.
