APRICOT NECTAR CAKE 
1 box lemon cake mix
4 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. apricot nectar
2/3 c. Crisco oil
1 c. powdered sugar
Juice of 1 lemon

Combine cake mix, apricot nectar, oil and sugar. Beat 2 minutes. Beat in eggs one at a time. Pour in greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for one hour. Cool in pan 15 minutes, remove. Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice. Pour over warm cake. Allow icing to drizzle.

I have made this dozens of times, and I recommend this version with a minor variation. Remove the cake from pan immediately after taking it out of the oven. Glaze with 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 2 - 3 tablespoons of apricot nectar instead of lemon juice...... May need to add a little more apricot nectar or microwave glaze for 10 seconds before drizzling on cake.
