FROSTING FOR RED VELVET CAKE | |
1 c. milk 1/4 c. flour (plain) Pinch of salt 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. Crisco 1 stick butter Combine milk and flour and cook over low heat until thick. Add salt and let cool. Beat sugar, Crisco and butter at high speed until fluffy. Combine both mixtures and add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat at high speed until fluffy. Spread on cake when cake is completely cooled. |
