ROCK CANDY 
1 1/2 c. light corn syrup
3 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 dram flavoring
2 to 3 drops fool coloring
1 tbsp. powdered sugar

Combine water, sugar and syrup in large saucepan; bring to boil. Cook until heard crack stage (checking with candy thermometer). Take off heat and add flavoring and food coloring; pour onto large Teflon cookie sheet or foil lined sheet. Let cool, crack and place in brown bag with powdered sugar. Shake well and remove. Makes about 2 pounds.
