WALNUT CANDY 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. light Karo syrup
6 c. walnuts (any kind nut you prefer)
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter over medium heat. Stir in sugar and Karo. Heat until boiling, stirring constantly. Once it comes to boil, let boil 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat and add vanilla.

Arrange walnuts evenly on jelly roll pan. Pour mixture over nuts. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Stir every 10 minutes to coat evenly. Dump out on wax paper and let cool completely. Break into pieces.
