HUNGARIAN NUT CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Cream butter, brown sugar, egg yolks, and vanilla. Sift together flour and baking powder and mix in first mixture. Press this in bottom of 8x8 inch pan.

Sprinkle with: 1 c. nuts 1 c. chocolate chips

Beat 2 egg whites stiff and add 1 cup brown sugar gradually. Spread on top. Bake at 325 degrees for 55 minutes.
