CHOCO-CHERRY BARS 
1 pkg. fudge cake mix
21 oz. cherry pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs, beaten

ICING:

1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
6 oz. pkg. (1 c.) semi sweet chocolate pieces

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Use solid shortening or butter to grease and flour 13 x 11 inch pan. In large bowl combine first 4 ingredients. By hand stir well until mixed. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. While bars cool, prepare frosting in small saucepan. Combine sugar, butter, milk. Boil stirring constantly 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate pieces until smooth. Pour over partially cooled bar. About 3 dozen.
