FREEZER SLAW 
1 med. head cabbage
1 sweet pepper
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1 chopped or grated carrot
1 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. dry mustard or celery seed

Chop cabbage; let stand 1 hour in salt. Squeeze out liquid; grate carrot and pepper, then add cabbage. Boil sugar, vinegar and water for 1 minute. Add celery and mustard seed; pour over cabbage, then let cool. Pack and freeze.
