LEMON BARS SUPREME 
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter, soft
4 eggs, beaten
2 c. sugar
1/3 c. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. baking powder (omit when using self rising flour)

Sift together 2 cups flour and 1/2 cup powdered sugar. Cut in butter until mixture clings together. Press into greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until lightly brown.

Combine eggs, sugar and lemon juice; beat well. Then bake another 15-20 minutes until lightly brown. Cool and cut into bars.
