BANANA NUT SNACK CAKE 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. shortening
2 ripe bananas
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/3 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Combine all in mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Spread in greased 11 x 7 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes.

BANANA FROSTING:

Combine:

2 tbsp. soft butter
2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 med. banana

Beat until smooth and creamy.
