BUTTER RUM CAKE 
1 box butter cake mix
1 box instant vanilla pudding
1/2 c. cooking oil
4 eggs
1 c. water
1 tsp. rum flavoring

Mix and pour into a greased and floured tube pan, 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. While cake is still in pan, pour syrup over it. Let stand in pan 30 minutes.

BUTTER RUM SYRUP:

1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. water
1/2 tsp. rum flavoring

Bring to boil. Add flavoring. Pour over cake.
