1 1/2 c. butter
2 1/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 3/4 c. flour
3 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. sugar
3 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter, sugar, eggs, and beat well. Add dry ingredients and chill dough mixture thoroughly. Form balls and roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place on cookie sheet and bake 10 minutes.
