GRAMMY'S KONA BANANA BREAD | |
1/2 cup shortening 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 3/4 cup mashed ripe bananas 1 1/4 cups sifted cake flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream the shortening and sugar until light. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one. Stir in mashed bananas. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt then add to bananas. Mix till blended (don't overmix). Pour into a greased 9x9x2-inch pan. Bake at 350°F for about 35 to 40 minutes. Submitted by: Natasha |
