PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE | |
2 c. granulated sugar 1/4 c. + 2 tsp. Hershey's Cocoa Few grains of salt 1 tsp. vanilla 2/3 c. evaporated milk 1 1/2 tbsp. white Karo 2 tbsp. butter 1/3 c. peanut butter Thoroughly mix sugar, cocoa, salt then add milk and Karo. Heat over low fire stirring constantly until a slow boil. Stop stirring and let simmer to a soft ball stage (225 degrees) (use candy thermometer). Remove from fire. Let cool for few minutes (about 6-7 minutes). |
