2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
5 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Cream together butter and sugars; add eggs and vanilla. Beat until fluffy. Sift together flour, salt and soda; stir into mixture. Add chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375°F for 8 to 10 minutes.

Yields 8 dozen.
