CHOCOLATE SANDWICH GOBS 
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter, melted
2 eggs, beaten
4 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. hot water
2 tsp. baking soda
Chocolate icing (you favorite)

Combine sugar, butter and eggs in large mixing bowl; mix well. Sift flour and cocoa; add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk. Combine hot water and baking soda; add to dough, mixing until combined. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove to cooling racks. When cool, form sandwich cookies by placing icing between 2 cookies.
