CHERRY COCONUT SQUARES 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. confectioners' sugar

Mix and spread in ungreased 8x8x2 inch pan. Bake 25 minutes, 350 degree oven. 1 c. sugar 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 3/4 c. chopped nuts 1/2 c. coconut 1/2 c. quartered maraschino cherries

Add dry ingredients to eggs, vanilla, nuts, coconut and cherries. Spread over cooked crust (no need to cool). Bake 25 minutes (or longer), 350 degree oven.
